Suzy Duin was born in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles where she spent most of her childhood. As a teenager she lived in Colombia and the Netherlands. In 1989 Suzy moved to Paris, France where she lived for 15 years.  While living and working in France, Suzy participated in numerous National and International competitions and in 2001 won a Gold Medal representing France in the 26th FIAP Monochrome Biennial in Italy.

 

Since moving to the US in 2002, Suzy has had many solo and group exhibitions in Westchester County, NY as well as Fairfield County, Connecticut. Besides her work as portraitist and family photographer, Suzy also photographs corporate events and other celebrations. Suzy is the in-house photographer for the French-American School of New York since 2002. She is fluent in Dutch, French, English and Spanish
